The Brave New represents many things.

It’s a challenge, an exploration, a call to arms, an experiment, a wakeup call.

It’s an invitation to shenanigans, adventure, hijinks, and, on lesser days, perhaps only a singular hijink.

But most of all, The Brave New is a demonstration.  A demonstration that growing as a person can be a continuous process with no real negative consequences.

Join me, Phil Warren, as I launch myself into The Brave New and see what a difference doing one new thing a day can make.  Every month I will post a challenge, introducing a different way to do something new each day.  Some months will have minor daily challenges, others tie the daily challenges together for one month-long quest.

Each challenge is simple enough that anyone can do it.  The Brave New communities on Facebook and Twitter are full of challengers that are trying new things every day.

So join us!  Live to the fullest.  Go outside your boundaries.  Meet strangers.  Eat exotic foods.  Learn new skills.  Find wonder nearby.  Wander nearby.  Listen to a different song, watch a foreign film, take unexplored streets, and shop in stores in which you’ve never been.  Dare to eat a peach.  Embrace a challenge.  Welcome inconceivable experiences.
